The 5 Must Hear Hanson Songs that spark Positivity constantly

“Please make more positive songs.” I blurted out a comment to Hanson on their Instagram. Obviously, I was caught up in the moment.

For what seemed like forever, I finally am able to catch up on the music of my most loved band in the world – Hanson.

Thank God for social media and Internet. If not for me adjusting into motherhood and in my pursuit of happiness, I wouldn’t have the chance to find my true self again through their music.

I learned how music is the best way to train the subconscious to gain Positivity and happiness constantly.

To back this up, brain studies proved that music causes more Dopamine (happy hormones) to be released in the brain. Music lights up the entire brain too.

Just as Happiness starts in the mind, goes into the heart and radiates into the soul, the music of Hanson does all of that for me.

To my surprise, Hanson definitely has a lot of epic awesome positive songs!

Sure I’ve read about others’ positive music playlist but what about my own? I figured I’d make my own positivity playlist.

The kind that truly makes my heart soar into the highest vibrations and energizes me.

So if ever you needed to be filled with happiness and positivity more, I highly recommend you to listen to these Hanson songs with me:

1.”Feeling Alive.”

feelingalivehandsup
“Tonight I won’t stand still. Lift your hands up high. Reach out to the sky.” -Hanson. Photo by xusenru on Pixabay Edited by Me (Nina)

This is one of their captivating songs on their Edition Package called: Play. It’s a piano ballad with stanzas where words are in between being spoken and sung at the same time.

The lyrics signify awakening into one’s own purpose and despite feeling ordinary, decides to take action towards greater pursuits.  The stanzas were sung with intense sense of surrender, loss of direction and weighed down by limitations.

The drum plays steadily like a heartbeat and picks up into a battle march beat. The Pre Chorus answers to the calling of one’s purpose. It is having the courage and determination to pursue it – a battle cry to fight the odds.

The Chorus is a call to have Hope and give your best. It speaks of how pursuing your passion brings people together.  It tells us that there is a humbling honor in pursuing our purpose.

It lights up the world with greater goodness. The song expresses that as we rise and fall, living out our purpose makes us feel more alive than ever.

2. “Joyful Noise.”

turntableedited
“Turn it up. Make joyful noise.” -Hanson. Photo by Marcela Laskoski on Unsplash Edited by Me (Nina)

This is another song that stood out to me when I heard it on Play. The song begins with a cheerful and quite upbeat tone of the piano and drums.

The stanzas sung with carefree nonchalance without dismissing the awareness of sadness and pain. It expressed a desire to overcome.

In the chorus, the piano becomes intense. The lyrics compel to wash away the struggles by tuning in to the music that lifts our soul.

The bridge tells us to love and honor who we really are. The second chorus reminds us to break away from our limits so we can find freedom to be our true self.

I feel like the song Joyful Noise refers to life as our own music and as we learn to dance in it regardless of the circumstances, we create our own kind of meaningful happiness.

3.”Fired up.”

fireguitar
“This thing is built like a war machine. We’re not turning around this time, let’s get fired up.” -Hanson. Photo by Skitterphoto on Pixabay Edited by Me (Nina)

This song from their album: Anthem just jumped out to me with its upbeat Rock and Roll vibe. I get such an adrenalin rush in it that I can’t get it off my head.

With the intense guitar and vocals amped up with an upbeat drum, it’s a fight song. It just exudes with strongly believing in oneself and never backing down.

It’s standing up for one’s pursuit of purpose and truth. It is being unstoppable. So much that it calls people to become unstoppable too.

It just loudly tells you to go for your own purpose, passion and truth.

4.”I’ve Got Soul.”

discoball
“I’ve got soul. And I’m not afraid to use it.” -Hanson. Photo by greyson joralemon on Unsplash

I was blown away with amazement with this song from Anthem as well. The instrumentals had an overall dance vibe.

It was so full of life and energy. With more intense rhythm and more harmony on vocals in the chorus, it emphasizes strength, courage and believing in oneself.

It is knowing yourself and being fearless to share it to the world. The song inspires me to shine my own light for myself and others.

5.”I was Born.”

iwasborn
“My heart is a weapon and my mind’s electric. I’ll shock the world when you least expect it.” -Hanson. Photo by peter_pyw on Pixabay Edited by Me (Nina)

This is Hanson’s latest song and it empowered me every time I hear it. The acoustics and clapping in it gave me a happy vibe.

The low and steady tone of the guitar and drum builds up and becomes upbeat in the chorus. The intense vocals on the stanzas create a feeling of rising above and breaking limits.

It conveys that life is meant to be lived fully and extraordinarily. The violins played on the bridge part of this song emphasized visualization – having a vision of a fulfilled life and going after it.

The second stanza and Chorus are affirmations of one’s individuality and embracing one’s birthright to a life well lived with greatness too.

I could listen, dance and sing to all these songs all day and still want more. I thought that being in College and going into the corporate world have dimmed my inner light as a Hanson fan. I’m so glad these circumstances never did.

It’s amazing how Hanson touched my life positively with their music and changed my life forever ever since Mmmbop. No matter how many years pass, I know that once a Hanson fan, always a Hanson fan.

Our subconscious is a large tip of the iceberg. Master it by always choosing to tune in to Positivity.  Have fun and enjoy these Hanson music videos:

The 3 Sure fire Ways to a Happiness Mindset

beautiful-cellphone-cute-761963.jpg
There is power in a Happiness Mindset! We are happy as we choose to be. Photo by bruce mars on Pexels

Was there a time when your mind and body tells you that you can’t do a certain task (the mandatory school requirement, daunting chores, business or work task even personal goals) but you did it anyway?

What’s more is that to your surprise, you did it really well. With flying colors.

Our mind says a million lies. It tells us our limits to keep us safe.

These thoughts of doubts, fear, unworthiness, guilt, shame and worry hold us back from living our desired reality.

PicsArt_04-14-03.37.38.jpg
A Happiness mindset means breaking free and taking your power back from limiting thoughts.

I’m just going to tell you this truth. You are smarter than your mind.

Go beyond your thoughts and try. It’s about time that you take power over your mind.

I struggled with low pain tolerance but I endured vaccines and Cesarean operation for my child.

I get exhausted easily but I withstand doing most chores and caring for my child with few hours of sleep.

I’m an introvert but guess what, I learned to like being around people.

I’m an empath and I transmute dark energy with my loving light. I said I’d publish my poetry book and novel.

Life got in the way (got sidetracked and everything) but guess what? In 4 years time, I published them online.

It happened. No matter how long it took, I made it happen.

If you’d like to know how to tame your thoughts to your advantage, here’s what we can always do to have a happiness mindset:

1.Smash Your Limiting Beliefs.

carli-jeen-365-unsplash
A Happiness Mindset is awakened through rewriting your own Empowering story. Photo by Carli Jeen on Unsplash

Reframe your Limiting beliefs into Empowering beliefs. You can do this by writing down 5 limiting beliefs each about yourself, family, love, health and money.

For each Limiting belief, think of ways how this cannot be true in general. Cross out those Limiting Beliefs one at a time.

Write a positive truth and make it your Empowering belief from now on. For instance a limiting belief that says “You need to work hard to earn money.”

There are people earning so much money doing their passion for a living. Other people earn through investing in stocks.

This lets them earn passively without having to work so hard.

Replace such belief into an Empowering Belief: “Money can be earned by enjoying your passion or through passive income.”

2.Train your Subconscious.

I am a limited kind of awesome.png
Embrace and speak well of your true inner brilliance.

Affirmations are positive statements that condition the mind consciously and subconsciously to develop improved actions, habits and feelings.

Choose which part of yourself you’d like to improve in terms of self-love, health, relationships and money.

Find 1 or 2 affirmation that suits best the aspect of your life you’d like to improve.

Take time alone to say these affirmations to yourself out loud with feelings 10 times every day.

adult-beautiful-face-774866.jpg
A Happiness Mindset creates greater blessings when you love the greatness in you. Photo by bruce mars on Pexels

Say it and really mean it from your heart. You can do this while you look in the mirror by yourself.

You can also write these affirmations in your journal 10 times straight. Write these every day.

You can also repeat these affirmations in your mind while waiting in line some place safe, washing the dishes or sweeping the floor.

At first, it may seem to feel fake saying and writing these affirmations but keep going. You know better than your mind.

Gradually soon enough, your mind would stop resisting and agree along with these affirmations.

You start becoming your higher self – you uncover the awesome brilliance that is in you all along.

You can either make your own or try these Affirmations that I made.

Self Love and Self Worth:

  • I am worthy of happiness, abundance, love, peace and great health.
  • I am beautiful, awesome and brilliant in my own way.
  • I love myself unconditionally.

Health:

  • I am strong, energetic and healthy.
  • I always feel great about my body.
  • I feel alive and well every day.

Relationships:

  • I am loved and supported by the people around me.
  • I am always appreciated and accepted as I am.

Money:

  • I am richly blessed in many ways.
  • Money is always overflowing to me.

Saying these affirmations allow your mind to think more positively. It transforms your outside world by starting with your inner reality.

You would notice that you treat yourself better either by eating healthy, sleeping well, drinking more water, doing exercises, engaging in hobbies that make you happy and people, ideas and opportunities are coming up to you.

The Universe begins to conspire to give you all that you need, the nudges for you to act and receive your desires.

You just need to listen and follow through those nudges. These always are positive nudges.

Soon enough, life starts to become what you decide to make of it.

3.Speak the language of Positivity.

apple-fruit-hand-65299
Positive words and Happiness mindset brings miracles into existence. Photo by Adrianna Calvo on Pexels

Positive wording is choosing to speak mostly good about everyone and everything including about yourself.

Changing into a reality we desire starts with our thoughts and words.

We attract a happy, healthy, peaceful, loving and abundant life when we speak and focus on positivity.

This takes practice and time to master but it is possible. As long as we keep trying, we’ll get the hang of it.

We can talk more about simple and grand things that we love, blessings we received today, things we’re excited about maybe a vacation, book, movie, job or business we’re looking forward to, good things about people and ourselves.

The key to speaking positivity is surrounding ourselves with positive people. These people are the right ones to share and speak of positivity.

Join Facebook groups of your interest and Law of Attraction groups. Always choose a positive, kind and safe online community that you can relate with.

As a group we can share with them our positivity and learn to grow a positive mindset with them.

Our Instagram should also be filled with positive posts from positive friends. We can also start sharing more positive posts too.

That One Effective Act that creates greater Happiness and Abundance

krystina-rogers-85945-unsplash
Abundance is everywhere. Photo by krystina rogers on Unsplash

Have you noticed that when our needs and desires are met, we feel happy? And how we have the means to do so is through abundance, Right?

Having greater abundance allows us to have our needs and desires met. It helps us be a blessing to others too.

The truth is, we are meant and so worthy of all the happiness and abundance in the world. Being rich starts with our inner world.

Embracing the inner abundance that we have all along empowers us to live our happiness into reality.

How do we attract abundance and happiness? The secret lies in giving. It is the act of being grateful for all the abundance that we have.

Feeling these and acknowledging our inner abundance attracts more of abundance our way.

Light up and give back to the world. Photo by Josh Boot on Unsplash

As a stay at home mom, I wanted so much to give and thought about ways to do so. I realized that I have more to give.

I have love to care for my family. I have strength, health and energy to help them with chores. I find a way to cook while I looked after my toddler.

I have time to share and treasure every moment with them. I have a heart that beats with compassion, arms that cuddle my child, eyes that see true happiness, beauty and positivity.

I have great health to do good things. I am able to go after my desires through blogging and part time writing.

I have a mind that thinks deep and brilliant happy thoughts. I have a voice that lets me sing and speak with truth and kindness.

I have creative hands that make beautiful masterpieces with my graphic designs. I have a soul that shines with so much light that fills the darkness away.

I realized I am richer knowing I have everything in me to live the best of life.

The key to gaining abundance and feel greater happiness is to start feeling these feelings. It is being gratefully giving.

When I started giving with what I have, blessings came pouring. I was able to manifest having our internet installed again.

Online jobs opportunities started coming up. I earned my dignity back and gained my peace of mind. We have more financial blessings to keep going to church on Sundays.

Blessings overflow in many ways the more we share them. Photo by Quince media on Pixabay

We get to have more savings. We enjoyed pizza more often. I found new good Christian friends. I’ve found myself back in a deepening loving relationship with Jesus.

I get to access Christian worship songs, Hanson videos and music every day. I tapped into abundance through giving and it has kept me in constant lasting happiness.

I know with God’s grace we will have so much more to give back to others in His perfect time.

The richest are not those that has the most money but the ones who joyfully give, help and share the most.

The ones who love and care for others as much as one loves oneself are immensely abundant.

They act with gratitude, joy love, power and trust that the Universe supplies unlimited abundance to support how they serve and give value to the world.

When you’re down to nothing, give what you can in your own small ways and be grateful that you can give.

Watch the Universe unfold even more unlimited abundance to you at the time you need it.

Be brave to share with a generous heart. Breakthroughs come from struggles, keep giving in simple ways. It doesn’t always have to be money.

The Universe loves to give you the more you give away some of your abundance (of course, leave some for ourselves too.)

Miracles happen if you become a miracle to others. The greatest joy is enjoying abundance with others through giving and knowing how to graciously receive.

Which qualities do you have are you grateful for and how are you going to be more giving with it? Let’s exchange thoughts.

That One Step to celebrate Birthdays with Self Love and Gratitude

gianna-ciaramello-466950
Birthdays calls for Self Love and Gratitude. And yep, I love cheese cake so I put it there. Photo by Gianna Ciaramello on Unsplash.

How do you feel about your own birthday?

I used to believe Birthdays is just a typical day. The only  difference is that a person is born on that certain day.

Being the Introvert that I am, I used to feel awkward about getting too much attention to myself especially when I get birthday greetings. I’m weird like that I know.

Deep down I felt like I wasn’t worthy and that I’m nothing special.

I thought having attention to myself would take away from others.

Well, fast forward to this year, thank heavens something shifted within me. It had everything to do with being a mom.

With all the chores and caring for family, I kind of lost who I am. The exhaustion left me feeling empty, trapped, sad and angry.

I decided to go on a self development journey. Ever since then I finally learned to love, care, accept, honor and respect myself.

I realized how important Birthdays are most especially my own. It is a celebration of life.  It is gratitude for myself and for all that I’ve been through.

Birthday food and gifts wouldn’t matter to me if people aren’t as nice and respectful every day.

Hey, a tired mom needs kindness too you know.  I value kindness, respect, love, support, generosity and encouragement more than these things.

So I fully celebrated my birthday this 2018! Since my birthday falls under the same date as the National Disc Jockey day, I played Hanson music all day while I reminisced my blissful  journey.

Come join me on my trip down memory lane.

All these years I have become a:

1.Reader.

michael-d-beckwith-521507
My kind of paradise. Photo by Michael D Beckwith on Unsplash

As a child, I’ve always looked at the world with wonder and curiosity. I had my head looking up at the clouds.

I’d stare at the glimmering moon and stars. I’m fascinated by the feel of cold water. I wondered how things happen and why.

I’d be mostly by myself having such wandering thoughts and amazement. My fascination about life got higher especially when I learned how to read when I became 5 years old.

So I became a bookworm – I read science books, story books and had fun with coloring books.

The library and bookstores are paradise to me.

2.Poet. I wrote my first poetry about a clock when I was 12 years old. It had rhymes in 2 verses.

I published my first poetry book online last year. It was one of the highlights of successes I had!

Just the feeling of publishing it is so blissfully fulfilling for me. My very first masterpiece brought to life.

3.Tourist.

adam-birkett-203669
Seeing the world widens perspective of life. Photo by Adam Birkett on Unsplash

Traveling is always a beautiful experience. I started travelling at 12 years old.

Dad took us on a tour to Indonesia, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. We had business class flights and a master suite.

Indonesia is almost like home because the climate was similar. It has rich and colorful sculptures.

Australia has awesome ambiance and wildlife. People were very friendly, the weather’s great. I love the Kangaroos and Koalas.

Singapore is soooo unbelievably clean! I find the Merlion interesting.

Hong Kong seems like a busy place. It has great shopping malls. Mom tagged me along to America when I graduated High School.

We stayed at my aunt in Los Angeles for a month. It’s cold! We visited Disneyland, Universal Studios, Queen Mary, Las Vegas and Arizona. I fell in love with their Cheesecake and pizza.

4.Hanson Fan.

My heart just stopped. Photo from Buzzfeed.com

It was love at first sight! – especially Taylor Hanson. I came across Hanson’s first music video “MMmbop.”

They sound really good and I couldn’t get enough of their songs. My bedroom walls were plastered with posters of them.

I had their albums on cd and cassette tapes. I would listen to them all day. I’d watch my Hanson video every birthday I had. It always completed my day.

5. Soprano 1.

I auditioned to be part of our chorale in College. The vocal trainor classified my voice as Soprano 1.

Been singing the high note melodies along with fellow Sopranos, Tenors and Altos.

We had our concert when I lost my voice for a while.0_o’  As the curtains raised, my voice came back. I was able to sing.

6.Writer.

carli-jeen-365
Writing is tuning in to your higher self. Photo by Carli Jeen on Unsplash

I started keeping a journal at 17. I’d pour my heart and soul in it. I wrote more than I could speak.

I’d use some sort of an ambiguous or ambivalent words. So I’d be the only one who’d know what it meant. Writing always made me feel better.

I  kept my first blog at 19. It was called “Soul of Irony and Bliss.” It was like an online journal with mysterious poetic writing style into it.

I wrote about love. I wrote movie reviews about “Hurtlocker,” “Sweet November” and the “Lake House.”

I became a News Writer for our College School paper at 18. I tried out as a News writer for our College journal and got in!

I was so happy. It was my first time to see my work published.

I climbed up the Editorial Ladder and became a Features writer. I learned to write in Features style.Since I had to interview people, it helped me overcome my shyness.

The best part of being part of the Editorial Board is to have my own column or section where I write my opinion as an article. My column was called Spotlight.

A year after, I stepped up as Managing Editor. I managed the publishing funds and edited articles.

I wrote critic views about studying and an inspirational about Happiness in Individualism.

As a College senior, I took over as an Editor-in-Chief at 21. I managed to handle a group of writers, artists, photographers and editorial board.

We successfully published 4 newspapers and a literary folio.

Right after graduation, I became an online Research Writer. I worked at home for 2 years.

I got the 3rd place Savant Writer title for writing the most number of pages. I won a cash incentive of P10,000.

It was such an honor for me that my hard work paid off.

7. 3rd place Dean’s Lister.

Just when you thought you’re down, your inner brilliance breaks through. Photo by Allef Vinicius on Unsplash

After a heart break, I kept studying. There was so much to do.

I was reading chapters of books on all my major subjects ahead of time, reviewing the current topics of each and writing my written and verbal report too.

I was so busy. To my surprise, I made it to the top honorable students.

8.Psychology Graduate.

Maintaining an above 90% grade on major subjects is challenging. I needed to study hard to stay as a Psychology student.

Graduating with a Psychology degree gave me a great sense of accomplishment.

And yet, I allow myself to be silly, weird and crazy brilliant even. Because, why not? Just kidding.

9. Young and Independent Professional.

156194_1708843162194_357589_n
Feeling Fabulous

I went out into the world after 2 years as a home based Research writer. I landed a job in the Outsourcing field.

It enhanced my English communication skills and professional work attitude.

I moved in my own place. I did chores for myself and managed my finances. Freedom is so blissful! I get to do anything I want!

I watched movies and read books all day. I ate any food I want. I munched on Lays and watched Gintama on my rest days.

I read manga too. These always relaxed and made me laugh.

I get to shop clothes, branded perfume and make up. I’d party out with my best friend.

We’d dance away and watch bands play music. I listened to indie bands perform Rock Metal music. The genre took my stress and angst away.

I became business minded and took on business trainings after work.

10. Up levelled Professional.

19961545_10213236252322146_8449082264691279006_n
7 years in the corporate world. Life’s sweeter in the creative world ^_^

I tried out for a promotion at work just for fun. I thought about how God sent Moses to speak to the Pharaohs to free the slaves.

I walked into the interview room filled with God appointed confidence I never knew I had.

Everyone knew I’d pass until it was officially announced. So there I was – a Quality Analyst Apprentice. Conducting audits, making reports and attending audit sessions.

At the same time I was automatically assumed into being a Resolution Specialist. Handling 2nd level concerns. Working for 7 years outside of Writing taught me to be stronger and diligent.

11.Breastfeeding Mom.

True Love is Forever. Photo by Me

It took me 3 months to heal from Caesarian birth operation. My best day was when I succeeded breastfeeding my baby.

It was a special bonding moment for me and my child. I treasure them so much.

12. An Awakened Spiritual and Self Development seeker.

Finding myself again ^_^

I decided to fix my mindset and finances towards positivity, self-love, happiness, well being and abundance. I learned about Law of Attraction on a deeper level.

I am still learning more about Crystals, Meditation, Chakras, Akashic Records, Reiki, Theta Healing, Paleidian healing, Intuition, Angel numbers, Spirit animals and Spirit Guides. All these knowledge inspires me to be a better version of myself.

13. Professional Blogger.

I built this blog and named it The Rising Bliss. I have been writing blog posts on it consistently once a week.

It kept me happy. I am able to reach out to people and serve the world with my passion.

14. Graphic Designer.

My colorful and inspiring Instagram aesthetic.

I have been editing and designing graphics for my blog posts, Instagram and Pinterest. It feels so great to create colorful masterpieces.

It was an incredible journey looking at my life. I am filled with gratitude for it and  the people around me.

As I was reflecting on my life, I felt an inner bliss. Guess what? Blessings came pouring right away!

My hubby bought me my favorite snack! Popcorn! (Yes, I’m easy to please like that.) I got a thousand cash gift cheque too. My older brother came home with a box of Cheesy Lava Pizza just for me.

IMG_20180120_185637
Oh my Pizza! ^_^

I’m so thankful. My eldest brother cooked a delicious Spaghetti and Spring rolls too. Our family friend gave me a box of J.Co doughnuts.

I received tons of greetings and well wishes on Facebook messenger, personal messages and text messages. I was so overwhelmingly happy!

Best of all, I received my first Theta healing. Are you curious just yet? Watch out for my next post about it!

All of these happened because this was the only day I allowed myself to shine the brightest. It is my birthday gift for myself.

The Universe supported me by showering me with massive love, happiness and birthday food.

I wrote my life journey to remind me of who I am and who I can be.

Best of all, to inspire you to celebrate your simple and grand successes in life. We are all amazing.

We can create amazing things for ourselves and serve the world. It all starts with loving ourselves.

Self Love is crucial to harness your power to give more. Keep loving who you are, even more so on days it feels quite difficult.

Listen to your body. Give it what it needs even for just a little while. This way you wouldn’t run out of love to share.

Thank you for reading all the way here. I am humbled by all the support.

I thought of you guys and it made me smile to have such wonderful people to connect with.

I love you and wish you all the great things in life.

Any birthday wishes for me? Please comment, like and share.

I’ll be here serving you with weekly inspiration, happiness and positivity.

Love and Awesomeness,

Cuddling speaks of love more than words can say. Photo from Pexels

How do you stay warm during cold months or winter season?

What better time to cuddle than this one.

So the National Cuddle Day was made for this. It is celebrated every January 6.

Even though the person who thought of it wasn’t known, still a huge thanks.

It gave people the excuse to be more expressive of their love through giving and receiving cuddles from the one they love.

The National Cuddle Day is also a good time to be more loving and caring of ourselves.

I’m all for cuddles. I believe in the amazing benefits it has for our well being and happiness.

Here are the 7 blissful tips to have a happy National Cuddle Day.

1.Cuddle Up.

National Cuddle Day would not be complete without cuddles, of course!

Spend a good 15 to 30 minutes cuddling with your special someone or pet or your baby (if you’re a mom) in bed or on the couch.

Fully enjoy the moment of having the warmth of your loved one around you and in your arms.

Send a lot of loving thoughts to your significant other. Imagine a bright pink light of love surrounding both of you.

Make your loved one feel your love through your cuddles. Bring in so much love and let it flow to your loved one.

Cuddling isn’t just for lovers. It’s also for moms and babies or children. Cuddles are for fur parents and pets too!

Moms can spend their day cuddling with their baby while they nurse them and take care of them all throughout the day.

Fur parents can cuddle their dogs or cats while they’re on the couch watching tv.

We all need physical touch from people we love and are comfy with. Cuddling is a perfect form of physical touch. It makes us feel loved.

The longer time and more often we spend cuddling, the greater effects it has on our well being and happiness.

It helps our brains to release more Oxytocin and Dopamine – the happy hormones.

When Oxytocin flows more in our brain, it makes us have that feel good feeling.

It makes us feel more bonded with our loved ones.

We become healthier because of the immunity boost.

It decreases blood pressure and risks of heart attacks.

The Oxytocin we get from cuddling also eases pain.

We sleep better when we cuddle during bedtime.

Even busts out stress and social anxiety. Cuddling helps us be more optimistic and enhance our outlook in life with positivity.

Breastfeeding moms also produce more milk when they cuddle their babies.

As for the Dopamine increase from all the cuddling, our memory and focus becomes sharper.

Cuddling when we wake up helps us feel energized and more awake.

We become more motivated and creative.

Over all, the pleasure in cuddling is a natural way to instantly feel good.

2. Up your game on Self-love.

pexels-photo-101523
Self-love also means giving yourself a good sleep cuddling a teddy bear or pillow. Photo from Pexels

The National Cuddle Day is a time for more Self-love as much as for those who are with their significant other.

Never forget to love yourself too. You can give yourself a cuddle emotionally just by embracing who you are unconditionally.

Spend 5 to 10 minutes in the mirror. Smile and look at yourself in the eyes.

Tell yourself with full conviction and feelings: “I am worthy of all the good things in life. I am enough. I am willing to choose happiness and love every day.”

Say this 10 times. Do this when you wake up and before you sleep.

Cuddle with a teddy bear or pillow for a good sleep.

3. Cover up in furries and fuzzies.

If National Cuddle Day falls on your rest day where you don’t have to go to work or school, bring out your furry and fuzzy blankets or comforters.

Get wrapped up in them by yourself, with a pet or your loved one.

Put on some socks and fuzzy slippers too. Cozy.

If you’re going to work or school, you can wear a velvet or fuzzy jacket to stay warm.

4.Warm drinks and food.

Have a coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Sip and enjoy the relaxing, warm and sweet taste.

Savor some hot soups too. You can find some healthy yummy soups here.

5.Bathe in Warmth.

Have a quick warm shower or have a warm soak in the bath tub. Let yourself be cuddled in warmth. Breathe in happiness.

6.Light Up.

Light some Lavender candles.

The warmth and relaxing scent allows you to enjoy the moment with your loved one, pet or just pamper yourself.

Breathe in the moment.

Deep breathe for 5 minutes. Inhale positivity and love.

Exhale negativity and hate.

7. Cuddle Playlist.

pexels-photo-164853
Music calms the soul. Photo from Pexels

Compile your own Cuddle music on your computer, laptop, phone or on Spotify.

Play these songs as you cuddle with your loved one or pet.

You can put these playlist on while you enjoy your warm bath, warm food and drinks, fuzzy slippers or warm clothes or wrapped up in your fuzzy blanket.

Either by yourself, with a loved one or a furry pet companion.

You can try these songs for your Cuddle Music: “All of Me” (John legend),” Just The Way You Are” (Bruno Mars), “Marry Me” (Jason Derulo) “Stay with Me” (Sam Smith), “Make You feel My Love” (Adele) “Thinking out Loud” (Ed Sheeran) “The Scientist” (Coldplay) “You and Me”(Lifehouse). Your Guardian Angel” (The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus) and “Say” (John Mayer).

National Cuddle Day is so right for being more loving to our loved ones and ourselves.

When we act from love we grow happier and develop into our higher selves.

We become more understanding, patient, caring, generous and helpful.

We become a true being of love. Radiating love helps others become love too.

Just as God made us lovingly out of love, we should always choose love and happiness.

May your National Cuddle Day be filled with blissful love.

Happy cuddling!

3 Steps to Create an Epic Awesome New Year

PicsArt_12-30-03.03.35
New Years are for perfect for fresh, fun and exciting beginnings! Photo by James Owen on Unsplash Edited by Nina on The Rising Bliss

Are you ready for 2018? How does the coming New Year makes you feel?

The New Year brings me so much hope, excitement, happiness and gratitude. I feel hopeful because the coming year is a brand new start.

This 2018 is a chance to make the best out of life. It is a blank canvass where I can put in colorful moments, wisdom, love and inspiration.

I’m grateful for the New Year because I’m given the opportunity to turn my life into a masterpiece.

This New Year is the perfect time to really become the best version of myself.

It fills me with cheerful anticipation of living the best life that is meant for me.

I know having the best life lets me become more open to receive and share great blessings to everyone.

I’m thankfully trusting, surrendering and expectant of having all of my desires and blessings. And no, it doesn’t make anyone selfish or greedy at all to look forward to greater blessings and graciously receive them.

Learning to become a thankful and good receiver of financial and material abundance can give us more means to be more giving.

We live in an abundant and limitless Universe after all.

I believe being grateful and looking forward to receiving good things is a great way to enjoy life. When we are happy, we are able to make life blissful for others too.

Tony Robbins talked about Primary question and mainly it says, life gives you what you always ask for.

So, are you asking and looking for things which will make you happy and abundant or are you subconsciously looking for events that will piss you off and make you broke?

I’d rather choose to ask and look forward to more blessings.

Change your life story into the reality you’d love.

Simply be more mindful of the primary questions you subconsciously ask about your everyday life.

My dear readers, I have to tell you how I’m filled with happiness this New Year. This is because I have never been more connected to the Universe than ever before.

I know that all my needs and desires are already given. I’m at peace and in full trust that every circumstance happens for my highest good.

I wouldn’t be here serving the world through this happiness and Law of Attraction blog if I haven’t had an emotional breakdown as a new mother.

This New Year just made me cry tears of joy and gratitude, all the days of my entire lifetime I am divinely blessed.

Every single day is a choice to be happy so why not keep choosing happiness for a year? How about choosing to be happy for life? Better yet forever?

Ever wonder why some people are happier than others? Tell you what, it’s not about the material possession, degree, finances, fame or looks.

Happiness has everything to do with a positive mindset. What sets happy, healthy, abundant, successful people apart from others is they are always aligned with positivity, gratitude, kindness, forgiveness, love, receiving and giving.

So being the blissful blogger that I am, I’m more than happy to share how you can have a blissful year.

1.Be Real with Yourself.

PicsArt_12-29-10.04.35
Show up for Yourself. You are meant to shine for the World. Photo from Pexels. Edited by Nina on The Rising Bliss

Take time to really listen and speak to yourself. Wake up and go on a self development journey.

Do this for yourself because you deserve the most epic blissful life ever.

Take time to look at your current life and reinvent it towards your higher best self. What are the positive changes you’re determined to make this coming New Year?

What made you decide to make these changes? How determined are you to follow through these?

Describe your highest best self. How does your best self live? How does he or she act, speak, think and feel like?

What actions are you going to take to be that higher best self?

Do those actions. Start being your best self from now on.

The clearer, specific and time bound you are in answering these, the better chance of following through your self development journey.

You can keep a journal for this to stay aware and mindful of your progress.

Alternatively, you can keep an audio or short video journal or a personal blog.

Write or just talk about everything you’re grateful for, the steps you’ve succeeded doing, things you aim for and lessons learned in certain circumstances.

2.Spark and Spice it Up.

guilherme-stecanella-370459
Transform into brilliance. The World needs your gifts. Photo by Guilherme Stecanella on Unsplash

Expand your talents, knowledge and skills. Learning something new makes life more exciting, productive and meaningful.

Fill up your life with good experiences.

Keep busy and make no space for negativity.

Find something positive that peaks your interest and lights you up.

Try a new online game, art craft, language, cuisine, musical instrument, writing style, fashion, healthy diet, exercise, dance genre, yoga, meditation, running, metaphysics, travel locations, cooking, read inspiring self development books, knitting, crocheting, sewing, graphic designing, music mixing, photography, blogging, web design, watch insightful or fun movies and tv shows.

Mix and match these new skills and create something unique. Squeeze in 10 minutes or more trying out these positive hobbies.

After developing talents, skills and knowledge, now what?

Time to give back. Use these newly acquired gifts to help out others. Volunteer or turn these skills into a money making part time gig or business.

Either as a host, dj, event organizer, costume designer, dance or work out instructor, freelance writer, events photographer or musical performer.

Having expertise to share helps you find purpose.Serving that purpose is a life well  lived with happiness.

3.Reinvent Yourself with a New Year’s Resolution.

rose-843393_640
Bloom and transcend into your inner greatness. Photo by GLady on Pixabay

Turn that wishful thinking into a self challenge for fun!

Just an example, if you intend to save more money as your New Year’s resolution, be specific on the amount of money you want to save by the end of the year.

Decide on where you will use the money you will save up. List 5 steps you can do to achieve it.

Set up a reward for yourself when you achieve your goal. You can think of a name for your resolution like “Money Saving Challenge.”

Every day or every week, you can create a live video, blog or post a photo status on your Facebook, Instagram or other social media you have.

Show up for yourself and post the action you’ve taken to save money. Even better if you can create a Facebook group.

Have your like-minded positive friends and family to join in on the challenge.

This will help you be more accountable in keeping your New Year’s resolution.

You end up richer, fulfilled and you get to keep a memory of the challenge you’ve completed.

Whenever it feels like you just want to give up and be your old less happy and less abundant self, see yourself succeeding.

Really feel thankful and happy for fulfilling your New Year’s resolution.

Rest for just one day and pick yourself up again. Carry on with your Money Saving Challenge.

Read biographies of successful people and watch inspiring videos like Kathrin Zenkina, Tony Robbins, Gabriel (Gabby Bernstein) and Abraham Hicks.

Succeeding with your resolution only sets you up to really changing your life for greater things.

This New Year, you deserve to look back with pride, happiness, gratitude and fulfillment. You’ve made it this far.

Be thankful and celebrate all your blessings and winnings – simple and grand.

Give yourself a congratulatory hug, a victory pose or maybe a victory dance? By yourself, maybe?

I know I would. I’m silly, fun, weird and happy like that.

Forgive the past and let go. Move on with more space for greater blessings than you can ever imagine.

2017 has been my life changing turning point towards my dreams.

Thank you to all of you, for being a part of my life through this blog.

I’m leaving you with this inspiring song to affirm yourself everyday.

The 9 Best ways to make a Happier Christmas

christmas-2971961_640
Christmas is the best time of the year! Photo by jill111 on Pixabay

Are you excited for Christmas yet? Have you ever felt sooo excited that you can’t sleep a few hours until Christmas comes? Just because?

Christmas is the best holiday because it is the happiest time of the year for most of us.

It is a time of giving, loving and forgiveness. There’s just so much magical feeling into it. Miracles happen anytime and everywhere.

It has that joyous atmosphere and the whole world just feels much more alive. Christmas makes my most favorite occasion in the world.

I enjoy every bit of it because of all the effort, love, energy that we put into the celebration.

Growing up, I realized how much time, effort, feelings and money is given, just to create a very special and most awaited Christmas moment.

This occasion only happens once in a year. It is only best to cherish it with all our hearts.

Christmas is meant to be enjoyable so I’m sharing these simple ideas to make this special holiday feel more blissful.

1. Be a Christmas DJ!

IMG_20171218_184347
Brighten up the Christmas spirit with blissful music! Photo by geralt on Pixabay Edited by Nina The Rising Bliss

Play happy Christmas songs of your favorite music artist. You can also create a happy Christmas playlist.

Keep in mind that the kind of music that you listen to creates a big impact on your subconscious.

Since you’d like and intend to make Christmas feel happy for everyone, make a conscious effort of playing only those Christmas songs that have positive, inspiring, happy lyrics and upbeat tune (relaxing mellow tunes would be perfect too).

Include the Christmas music staples such as Joy to the World, Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls,Christmas Alphabet, O Holy Night, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Silent Night, O Come, All Ye Faithful, Christmas in our Hearts and White Christmas.

For a more highly contagious festive mood boost, I highly recommend listening to Hanson’s latest song “Finally, it’s Christmas.”

Another one that you can listen to is Hanson’s “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” from their previous album Snowed In.

Play these Christmas music starting today up until during the Christmas celebration.

You can keep these songs in the background every morning when you wake up and every evening before sleeping.

You can even play these songs all day when you prepare the Christmas food, shop, wrap gifts and decorate the Christmas tree.

2. Bring out the Christmas Artist in You.

christmas-decorations-1882055_640

Choose a color and theme for your Christmas decoration.

Cut out or print out happy Christmas images and quotes. Put them together into a Christmas poster or collage.

You can display it on the walls of the living room. Add in some Christmas garlands and fairy lights too.

Turn up the Christmas lights on the Christmas tree and switch on the fairy lights for a short while during rest days.

Take time to watch the lights dance and admire their colors.

3. Make Jesus the Real Meaning of Christmas.

Jesus is the reason for the season. Photo by Matt Botsford on Unsplash

If you can believe in Santa Claus, then why not believe in Jesus Christ all the more?

Regardless if you’re not into religion, you can always have your own faith in a higher being or greater source.

Starting today, find a quiet time to reflect on life and search for those times you felt saved from harm or suddenly received miracles of blessing or being helped out.

Reflect on how every cell of your being were wonderfully made, how nature flourishes by themselves, who holds all the planets in place in the galaxy and how certain people or life events led you to the good in your lives.

If those out of nowhere miracles, guidance, blessings and protection circumstances in your life aren’t more than enough proof that God exists, I don’t know what is.

Take some time to seek and discover who God is and how would it feel like to have a happy relationship with God.

Choose to believe that a higher being loves us greatly and was born to save us.

Jesus came  down from heaven to be one of us, to guide us the right way towards God the Father, protect us all the time, love us unconditionally, gives our needs, makes us happy and gives us eternal life.

As you celebrate Christmas, think of Jesus with gratitude. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath and say your personal thanks to him.

Welcome him and greet him a happy birthday.

Jesus is the celebrant of honor! The holiday itself says CHRISTmas after all.

It is the day we choose to remember his birth. By being born into this world, we are already blessed with the best gifts in the world – Love, Health, Free Will and Eternal Life.

You are loved and blessed more than you think because of Jesus.

4. Become a Christmas Angel.

angel-564351_640
Spread love with your big heart of gold. Photo by cegoh on Pixabay

Give away or donate old things that are still in good condition.

Give some  spare change to Christmas carolers or give the coins during mass offerings at church.

Be more encouraging and expressively appreciative of others.

If you’re knowledgeable on a certain topic, share positive and helpful advice to people who needs it.

Post inspiring words of wisdom, videos, photographs and art on Social Media.

5. Get Crafty with Christmas gifts.

christmas-2956253_640
The best gifts are the ones thoughtfully made with love and effort. Photo by annca on Pixabay

Christmas gifts are icing on the cake. It keeps the Spirit of Giving alive.

You can always create a personalized play list of songs for loved ones who love music. Compile 7-10 positive songs in a CD.

Good with knitting or crocheting? Knitted or Crocheted gifts like scarf, coasters, small wallets and bonnets are great personalized Christmas gifts.

How about sewing by hand or using a sewing machine? If you’re good at this, a handmade animal plushies, dolls or pillows would also be nice to give to kids.

You can also get a small basket to customize a food basket filled with snacks or fruits or create a bath set with soap, shampoo and bath sponge.

Another option to give to women is a beauty set with a chapstick, nail polish, a small tube of lotion and small bottle of cologne or perfume.

Wrap in a clear plastic and put a ribbon on it to make it more special.

A goodie mug can also be stuffed with either 3 sachet of Swiss Miss hot chocolate or Coffee, Sugar, Creamer or Tea (depending on which the receiver would like).

Alternatively, you can put small trinkets like a keychain, small angel figurine and bracelet in the goodie mug.

Of course, this gift is only advisable to give to 11 years old and above. These small trinkets should be kept away from babies and toddlers.

6. Awaken your Inner Christmas chef.

close-up-1854245_640
Food is tastier when made with love. Photo by Pexels on Pixabay

Enjoy making  an easy and delicious Christmas appetizer, dessert or dish for everyone to eat. Search on the Internet and watch video tutorials on YouTube.

Food preparation is fun for me. I get to make refrigerated cake, tacos, cheese sticks, California Maki, Chicken Strips, Mojo potatoes, fruit salads, pesto, coleslaw or potato salad.

These simple yummy dishes make me feel like a pro! Whoo!

Volunteer to help out your mom in the kitchen even if there are helpers.

It is the best way to have more family bonding behind the Christmas celebration scenes.

You just might discover your passion for cooking and learn more about it too.

7. Wear Christmas in Style.

cat-1898497_640
Is it Christmas yet? I have my Santa Hat on and I’m so ready to party! Photo by Alexas_Fotos on Pixabay

Have a Christmas colored theme with your family.

You  can try to wear red clothes or green clothes or a customized Christmas shirt or put on a Santa hat.

Wear a style that make you look good and comfy in.

Have fun posing stylish, making silly and happy faces with your family for picture taking.

8. Channel Your inner Christmas Paparazziness.

camera-2607298_640

You can document a video and capture photographs of everything from the preparation down to the celebration.

A smart phone, video camera or good digital camera should do the trick.

You can shoot photographs of the Christmas decorations, food, gifts, eating and Christmas activities you shared together.

These photographs can be created into a movie presentation or music video as a fun way to capture moments with your family.

9. Indulge as a Christmas Feel Good Movie Enthusiast.

alex-munsell-18754
Pop corns are for Christmas too, you know. Photo by Alex Munsell on Unsplash

After cooking Christmas food, resting, wearing Christmas clothes, going to Christmas mass or having a quick thankful talk to Jesus, savoring a luscious food with loved ones as the Christmas music played and gifts were given, Christmas pictures were taken, greetings were said, now what?

Christmas movie time!

Relax comfortably with family and watch some of these oldies but goodie movies: “Elf” starring Will Ferrel, “Home Alone” (1990), “It’s a Wonderful Life” (1946), “Charlie Brown Christmas”, “Muppet Christmas” (1992), Arthur Christmas (2011), “About a Boy”  starred by  Hugh Grant (2002), The Polar Express (2004) and “The Santa Clause” starring Tim Allen (1994).

I’m feeling more thankful and excited for Christmas just writing about this. The wonder of it no matter how simple it is celebrated still never cease to amaze me.

It reminds me of the endless gifts of love, comfort, nourishment, peace, health, abundance and happiness showered to me every day. Christmas just keeps getting brighter and brighter!

How do you make your Christmas even more special?

God blessed me with a Leibster Award Nomination

lauurena-com_
Gratefully yours, humbled and honored. Photo from Global Aussie

You know what’s amazing? God blessed me with a nomination for this Leibster Award! I saw this somewhere on one of the blogs I read.

I wondered what a Leibster Award is but never researched about it.

I thought how cool would it be to have one too even if I just started my blog.

Just as I’ve forgotten about it, Sharlene asked bloggers if she can check their blogs for nomination.

Of all the millions of blogs in the world, thank you so much Sharlene for your time and effort to include me.

This means a lot.

I highly recommend you to look into Sharlene’s blog. I love how her portfolio has beautiful photographs.

The pictures look so perfectly crisp and clear. It was refreshing to look at.

I like that her blog has inspiring content. The way she writes is very relatable and fun to read.

Overall, the blog lay out is really clean and it is easy to navigate around her blog.

Favorite Blog

IMG_20171212_211336
In a sea of blogs. Photo by Sundine on Pixabay

I just started blogging with a passion and purpose (well I had one when I was a teenager but never really read other blogs that time).

I only just recently came across thousands of awesome awesome blogs!

There’s so many of them that at the moment I couldn’t choose my most favorite one.

Usually blogs that make my favorite list would be those that are about positivity,  New Mom Hacks, Christian faith and Self Development.

I read fashion, music, movies, travel and everything else too.

I also look for blogs that has a good lay out, simple navigation, beautiful photos and colors with great blog content.

I always like the ones that help me learn something new and have deeper knowledge at the same time fun to read.

Once I find my favorite and other interesting blogs, I may feature them in my future posts if ever they fit into my blog.

Nomination Questions from Sharlene Anne:

1.What inspires your blog? I am inspired to help people to find their own kind of happiness and live the life they desire.

2.What are 3 items you would take on a stranded island? Swiss knife, lighter and a large gallon of drinking water. Survival mode on.

3.If you can live anywhere where would it be? I can see myself  living in Paris.

4.How did you come up with your blog name? I like sharing about the kind of happiness that stays and uplifts so I thought The Rising Bliss sounds perfect.

5.What’s one of your favorite memories? One of my most favorite memories was when me and my whole family travelled to Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

We took Business class flights, had comfy and beautiful rooms to stay in and ate delicious food.

I also got to tag along with mom to go to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Arizona when I was fourteen.

6.If you can only eat 1 thing for the rest of your life what would it be? I can eat Pizza forever. It’s got everything in it – carbs, veggies, cheese and meat. A fruit pizza would sound cool too.

pizza-3000271_640
Pizza is all that. Photo by petrovhey on Pixabay

7.What’s your favorite quote? “With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy. “ – Desiderata by Max Ehrmann-

Since I’m a believer in Positivity and Law of Attraction as important keys to happiness, I no longer agree about the sham, drudgery and broken dreams of the world though.

I just believe we need to be thankful and choose to look on the bright side as much as we can.

I also don’t think we need to strive at all because it is easy to be happy as long as we are always thankful.

8.What’s something you can’t live without? God. I can’t imagine a life without God. I’d feel lost and cynical about life.

I’ve been like that and I’ve felt the difference in having God in my life. I feel guided, protected, blessed, strengthened and happy.

I’m not the religious kind but I keep a daughter relationship with God.

9.Favorite song? I got two. “Arise” by Flyleaf. I love the part that says: “Arise and be all that you dreamed.” I also like “Unstoppable” by Sia. The lyrics are empowering.

10. If you can trade places with anyone for a day who would it be and why? I would love to trade places with J.K. Rowling.

I’d only like to live the part how she successfully sold millions of her books and earn so much.

If I’d be that successful, I’d write more books that sell so I can fully support my whole family.

So I’m here to spread the love by sharing others’ awesome blogs!

Let life flow positively. Photo by Joshua Rawson-Harris on Unsplash

The only kind of surrender you need to do is surrendering your resistance to change or letting go of your negative mindset.

What I mean by negative mindset is all of your limiting beliefs, past hurts and negative self talk.

When you surrender you gain freedom to heal and transform your life.

Your awesome life and desires are just right outside your comfort zone – hiding in the guise of your resistance.

We have been conditioned to feel safe and secure in our comfort. We stay within the things we were taught to be safe.

In deeper reality, this is a form of resistance that holds us back from having our desired life and reaching our highest potential.

Confessions of a so-called Control Freak

I was never the laid back kind. I used to like being prepared. I always did my assignments in advance.

I read chapters of my major subjects ahead of time. I had advanced school notes too.

I have everything ready for school from all my stuff, books, uniform, allowance and down to my food.

As a former Editor-in-Chief in College for the Shool newspaper, I also had the whole school paper concept, articles, photos, illustrations, editing and publishing process all planned out.

All the newpapers and literary folio under my term were published smoothly.

My first job was a homebased writer. I always finished all my writing jobs a day before deadline.

Being in control gave me a sense of pride, power and fulfillment. I felt safe.

But what if everything fails and falls apart? That I don’t know.

After homebased writing for 2 years, I needed to earn more. I went out into the world to get a ‘real’ job.

I passed the exams and interview like child’s play.

I did not expect that I would be bullied for doing well and for being the trainor’s favorite.

My fellow trainees made snarky remarks within earshot. They made disapproving facial expressions and it hurt.

I had no control over how my workmates treated me. I lost control of my expected results and I failed at my corporate job for the first time.

It hurt devastatingly. I was broken. I lost myself – the person who used to have everything together.

Work was stressful. The travel was tiring. I just put on whichever clothes I pull out of my closet.

Life became uncontrollable. I shut the world out.

I constantly had earphones on. I listened to music almost all the time. It was my barrier.

I hid behind books too. I made less interaction.

I was traumatized by bullying. So much that I kept myself on low profile at work. I made myself small just to appease any workmate.

I became skeptic and paranoid. I walked on eggshells because people might get at me. I had anxiety and cried all the time.

I was detached from everyone. This way, they can never hurt me. All these control that I’ve tried to hold on to never helped me. I was stuck living aimlessly.

Happily in Surrender and Chilling Out

When I became a new mom, the emotional breakdown I had taught me complete surrender.

I rediscovered an in depth understanding of Law of Attraction. I started applying it in my life.

I also surrendered to Jesus. I read God’s Word. I prayed and talked to God all the time.

I had Bible study and watched The 700 Club Asia.

I sang and played worship songs. My workmates started asking me how I can still smile with all the stress. I simply answered: “I accepted Jesus in my life.”

I can’t imagine a life without God. My soul is healthy and full.

God gave me the right people, music, movies, food, books or audio books, videos, social media news feeds and everything I need.

Things started looking up. I worked well and earned more.

I was peaceful and found inner happiness. Everything came at the right time.

I no longer worry if my plans didn’t seem to work out.

I know I am guided into something better. I am supported and protected. I am loved.

I am God’s child. I am a child of the Universe. I am victorious in God’s love. We all are.

My life has never been happier.

Now who’s ready for the million dollar or pesos (any currency, really. Just Kidding.) question?

How do we surrender?

1.Visualize. Wake up saying silently to yourself thank you God/Universe for this happy day.

Smile. Stretch your arms and legs a bit. Quickly imagine a good day.

See yourself in a smooth travel to school or work, a pleasant interaction with others, peaceful travel home, nourishing food and restful sleep.

Let go of what happens and be ready for happy surprises.

2. Focus on the Good and Funny side. If things happen differently from what you visualized, write in your journal or do a quick reflection in your mind.

What is this circumstance or person teaching me?

What’s the good thing about this? What can I do about this?

What’s funny about this?

This breaks the negative pattern and shifts you to positivity.

In reflection and finding humor in the situation, it allows you to just shrug it off.

It helps you say oh well and move happily along.

You get to have more time and energy for productive things.
