How Theta Healing gave me Lasting Happiness

Have you ever had a sudden surge of emotions, so intense, you don’t even know what to do with it and why?

I felt that way many times before. I have always been one to love solitude. Aaah the freedom to just be and breathe. I’d be this happy and relaxed introvert after a long period of alone time.

Every time I’d be around people I get a whirlwind of feelings from tired, angry, sad or anxious. I get headaches too.

I just wanted to get away from it all. I’d get a sense if people are real to me or telling lies. I couldn’t stand conflicts, loud noise, horror or news.

All these years I just discovered I’m an Empath. (Yes there are people like that, who knew?!)

An Empath is someone who feels and absorbs the emotions and energies of people around them.

Sometimes it’s too much that it makes me cry for some reason I don’t know. Only to find out someone in my proximity is carrying intense sadness.

I felt so exhausted and angry out of nowhere too. It’s as if I’m feeling the weight of the world in my shoulders. I wanted to shut off completely.

I know there’s got to be a way to stop all this from affecting me. All I want to be is happy and have a happy life – to make God and others happy.

In my happiness journey, I’ve become mindful of the energy I choose to be around with.

I’ve been very grateful of every single blessing. I focused my thoughts on my blessings, positivity and my blog.

With all the effort and enjoyment that I’m going through in my happiness journey, I felt so alone and misunderstood.

It was to the extent that others would project all sorts of negativity. It was too much.

The negativity of people that seeped through me took a toll on me a day before my birthday.

Thank God for technology, I reached out to amazing women who shared positive and protective vibes for me. I was touched by the love and support they’ve given.

A kind-hearted woman, Evelyn offered me a 1 hour Theta Healing session as a birthday gift. I was in tears of joy that someone would thought of giving me a gift.

It was the first time I heard of Theta healing, I was curious and willing to heal back to my happy self again.

So I fought over my shyness and sent her a message. She allowed me to set an appointment. My heart is filled with joy as I write this. I didn’t have a grand birthday party.

I do have my inner celebration of myself and gratitude though. My gratitude brought me simple gifts like popcorn, pizza, J.Co doughnuts and a thousand cash gift cheque. They were simple and I’m so thankful for all of them.

But best of all, I was looking forward to receive her Theta Healing gift. I could sense something good about it.

Also, it isn’t everyday that I receive such a wonderful one of a kind gift. I was quite embarrassed that I wasn’t able to show up at 8:00 pm because my child held my hands and kept me away from my phone. I guess my little one wants her mom all to herself.

It was so kind of Evelyn to call me on messenger once my child fell asleep. We started the Theta Healing session.

She asked me to drink water and relax. I asked if there’d be any side effect. I was told it would be spiritual crisis or spiritual healing.

Some people may become grouchy because they’re adjusting to the positive changes in me.

Evelyn asked me permission for each part of the healing. She removed any wayward spirits, spiritual attachment and soul fragments that were making me tired and sad.

All of these were removed and sent back to the Creator. She also balanced my energy.

I felt a tickling sensation at the top of my head. Like something being removed on a few strands of my hair. It made me smile.

She told me to take deep breaths. Evelyn surrounded me in a bright white light of protection. I began to feel lighter and lighter. I felt happier and happier.

Evelyn also did a body scan. She told me something was sitting in my head. I asked if it could be my anxiety towards child safety and money. She began to heal this by releasing these fears into the light.

The fears were replaced with money being an unlimited resource. She gave me assurance that my child and I are always safe.

I find Evelyn very fun to speak with and she made me feel comfortable around her.

She also asked if there’s any pressure on me to have another child. She affirmed to me that it’s okay to enjoy my little one and my body as it is.

I received affirmation that the next baby will arrive at the perfect time.

She could tell my hips need alignment and recommended me to do some hips alignment exercise. She said I have a healthy body over all.

I was so glad to know I’m in good health. She advised me to be grateful of every situation and write on my journal the things that I am going through.

I was so happy and all the exhaustion I have been feeling were gone. She advised me to always vibrate higher with the highest vibration- love. She told me positive shifts are going to happen.

True enough, my hubby’s become more productive at work, I’m much happier and strongly protected from others’ energies, an extra 2 thousand cash suddenly appeared in my wallet (I swear our budget was almost used up well for the month), my little one got a new dress, I sleep much better, I’m becoming more well adjusted to being a mom and my family life is becoming more peaceful.

I’m just very grateful.

Evelyn healed me back to happiness. I’m so grateful to her beyond words. She made my birthday the best one ever. I dedicate this article to her and for me to remember my first Theta Healing experience.

I couldn’t state enough how important it is to heal ourselves to achieve lasting happiness. We owe it to ourselves to be free from things which no longer serve us.

She uplifted me. I am just so happy and excited to share back about Theta Healing and happiness to the world.

Now that I’m beginning to cope well, I fully embrace myself as an Empath. I’m such for a reason – to make the world brighter with love and light!

That One Step to celebrate Birthdays with Self Love and Gratitude

How do you feel about your own birthday?

I used to believe Birthdays is just a typical day. The only  difference is that a person is born on that certain day.

Being the Introvert that I am, I used to feel awkward about getting too much attention to myself especially when I get birthday greetings. I’m weird like that I know.

Deep down I felt like I wasn’t worthy and that I’m nothing special.

I thought having attention to myself would take away from others.

Well, fast forward to this year, thank heavens something shifted within me. It had everything to do with being a mom.

With all the chores and caring for family, I kind of lost who I am. The exhaustion left me feeling empty, trapped, sad and angry.

I decided to go on a self development journey. Ever since then I finally learned to love, care, accept, honor and respect myself.

I realized how important Birthdays are most especially my own. It is a celebration of life.  It is gratitude for myself and for all that I’ve been through.

Birthday food and gifts wouldn’t matter to me if people aren’t as nice and respectful every day.

Hey, a tired mom needs kindness too you know.  I value kindness, respect, love, support, generosity and encouragement more than these things.

So I fully celebrated my birthday this 2018! Since my birthday falls under the same date as the National Disc Jockey day, I played Hanson music all day while I reminisced my blissful  journey.

Come join me on my trip down memory lane.

All these years I have become a:

1.Reader.

As a child, I’ve always looked at the world with wonder and curiosity. I had my head looking up at the clouds.

I’d stare at the glimmering moon and stars. I’m fascinated by the feel of cold water. I wondered how things happen and why.

I’d be mostly by myself having such wandering thoughts and amazement. My fascination about life got higher especially when I learned how to read when I became 5 years old.

So I became a bookworm – I read science books, story books and had fun with coloring books.

The library and bookstores are paradise to me.

2.Poet. I wrote my first poetry about a clock when I was 12 years old. It had rhymes in 2 verses.

I published my first poetry book online last year. It was one of the highlights of successes I had!

Just the feeling of publishing it is so blissfully fulfilling for me. My very first masterpiece brought to life.

3.Tourist.

Traveling is always a beautiful experience. I started travelling at 12 years old.

Dad took us on a tour to Indonesia, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. We had business class flights and a master suite.

Indonesia is almost like home because the climate was similar. It has rich and colorful sculptures.

Australia has awesome ambiance and wildlife. People were very friendly, the weather’s great. I love the Kangaroos and Koalas.

Singapore is soooo unbelievably clean! I find the Merlion interesting.

Hong Kong seems like a busy place. It has great shopping malls. Mom tagged me along to America when I graduated High School.

We stayed at my aunt in Los Angeles for a month. It’s cold! We visited Disneyland, Universal Studios, Queen Mary, Las Vegas and Arizona. I fell in love with their Cheesecake and pizza.

4.Hanson Fan.

It was love at first sight! – especially Taylor Hanson. I came across Hanson’s first music video “MMmbop.”

They sound really good and I couldn’t get enough of their songs. My bedroom walls were plastered with posters of them.

I had their albums on cd and cassette tapes. I would listen to them all day. I’d watch my Hanson video every birthday I had. It always completed my day.

5. Soprano 1.

I auditioned to be part of our chorale in College. The vocal trainor classified my voice as Soprano 1.

Been singing the high note melodies along with fellow Sopranos, Tenors and Altos.

We had our concert when I lost my voice for a while.0_o’  As the curtains raised, my voice came back. I was able to sing.

6.Writer.

I started keeping a journal at 17. I’d pour my heart and soul in it. I wrote more than I could speak.

I’d use some sort of an ambiguous or ambivalent words. So I’d be the only one who’d know what it meant. Writing always made me feel better.

I  kept my first blog at 19. It was called “Soul of Irony and Bliss.” It was like an online journal with mysterious poetic writing style into it.

I wrote about love. I wrote movie reviews about “Hurtlocker,” “Sweet November” and the “Lake House.”

I became a News Writer for our College School paper at 18. I tried out as a News writer for our College journal and got in!

I was so happy. It was my first time to see my work published.

I climbed up the Editorial Ladder and became a Features writer. I learned to write in Features style.Since I had to interview people, it helped me overcome my shyness.

The best part of being part of the Editorial Board is to have my own column or section where I write my opinion as an article. My column was called Spotlight.

A year after, I stepped up as Managing Editor. I managed the publishing funds and edited articles.

I wrote critic views about studying and an inspirational about Happiness in Individualism.

As a College senior, I took over as an Editor-in-Chief at 21. I managed to handle a group of writers, artists, photographers and editorial board.

We successfully published 4 newspapers and a literary folio.

Right after graduation, I became an online Research Writer. I worked at home for 2 years.

I got the 3rd place Savant Writer title for writing the most number of pages. I won a cash incentive of P10,000.

It was such an honor for me that my hard work paid off.

7. 3rd place Dean’s Lister.

After a heart break, I kept studying. There was so much to do.

I was reading chapters of books on all my major subjects ahead of time, reviewing the current topics of each and writing my written and verbal report too.

I was so busy. To my surprise, I made it to the top honorable students.

8.Psychology Graduate.

Maintaining an above 90% grade on major subjects is challenging. I needed to study hard to stay as a Psychology student.

Graduating with a Psychology degree gave me a great sense of accomplishment.

And yet, I allow myself to be silly, weird and crazy brilliant even. Because, why not? Just kidding.

9. Young and Independent Professional.

I went out into the world after 2 years as a home based Research writer. I landed a job in the Outsourcing field.

It enhanced my English communication skills and professional work attitude.

I moved in my own place. I did chores for myself and managed my finances. Freedom is so blissful! I get to do anything I want!

I watched movies and read books all day. I ate any food I want. I munched on Lays and watched Gintama on my rest days.

I read manga too. These always relaxed and made me laugh.

I get to shop clothes, branded perfume and make up. I’d party out with my best friend.

We’d dance away and watch bands play music. I listened to indie bands perform Rock Metal music. The genre took my stress and angst away.

I became business minded and took on business trainings after work.

10. Up levelled Professional.

7 years in the corporate world. Life’s sweeter in the creative world ^_^

I tried out for a promotion at work just for fun. I thought about how God sent Moses to speak to the Pharaohs to free the slaves.

I walked into the interview room filled with God appointed confidence I never knew I had.

Everyone knew I’d pass until it was officially announced. So there I was – a Quality Analyst Apprentice. Conducting audits, making reports and attending audit sessions.

At the same time I was automatically assumed into being a Resolution Specialist. Handling 2nd level concerns. Working for 7 years outside of Writing taught me to be stronger and diligent.

11.Breastfeeding Mom.

It took me 3 months to heal from Caesarian birth operation. My best day was when I succeeded breastfeeding my baby.

It was a special bonding moment for me and my child. I treasure them so much.

12. An Awakened Spiritual and Self Development seeker.

I decided to fix my mindset and finances towards positivity, self-love, happiness, well being and abundance. I learned about Law of Attraction on a deeper level.

I am still learning more about Crystals, Meditation, Chakras, Akashic Records, Reiki, Theta Healing, Paleidian healing, Intuition, Angel numbers, Spirit animals and Spirit Guides. All these knowledge inspires me to be a better version of myself.

13. Professional Blogger.

I built this blog and named it The Rising Bliss. I have been writing blog posts on it consistently once a week.

It kept me happy. I am able to reach out to people and serve the world with my passion.

14. Graphic Designer.

I have been editing and designing graphics for my blog posts, Instagram and Pinterest. It feels so great to create colorful masterpieces.

It was an incredible journey looking at my life. I am filled with gratitude for it and  the people around me.

As I was reflecting on my life, I felt an inner bliss. Guess what? Blessings came pouring right away!

My hubby bought me my favorite snack! Popcorn! (Yes, I’m easy to please like that.) I got a thousand cash gift cheque too. My older brother came home with a box of Cheesy Lava Pizza just for me.

I’m so thankful. My eldest brother cooked a delicious Spaghetti and Spring rolls too. Our family friend gave me a box of J.Co doughnuts.

I received tons of greetings and well wishes on Facebook messenger, personal messages and text messages. I was so overwhelmingly happy!

Best of all, I received my first Theta healing. Are you curious just yet? Watch out for my next post about it!

All of these happened because this was the only day I allowed myself to shine the brightest. It is my birthday gift for myself.

The Universe supported me by showering me with massive love, happiness and birthday food.

I wrote my life journey to remind me of who I am and who I can be.

Best of all, to inspire you to celebrate your simple and grand successes in life. We are all amazing.

We can create amazing things for ourselves and serve the world. It all starts with loving ourselves.

Self Love is crucial to harness your power to give more. Keep loving who you are, even more so on days it feels quite difficult.

Listen to your body. Give it what it needs even for just a little while. This way you wouldn’t run out of love to share.

7 Blissful Tips for a Happy National Cuddle Day

How do you stay warm during cold months or winter season?

What better time to cuddle than this one.

So the National Cuddle Day was made for this. It is celebrated every January 6.

Even though the person who thought of it wasn’t known, still a huge thanks.

It gave people the excuse to be more expressive of their love through giving and receiving cuddles from the one they love.

The National Cuddle Day is also a good time to be more loving and caring of ourselves.

I’m all for cuddles. I believe in the amazing benefits it has for our well being and happiness.

Here are the 7 blissful tips to have a happy National Cuddle Day.

1.Cuddle Up.

National Cuddle Day would not be complete without cuddles, of course!

Spend a good 15 to 30 minutes cuddling with your special someone or pet or your baby (if you’re a mom) in bed or on the couch.

Fully enjoy the moment of having the warmth of your loved one around you and in your arms.

Send a lot of loving thoughts to your significant other. Imagine a bright pink light of love surrounding both of you.

Make your loved one feel your love through your cuddles. Bring in so much love and let it flow to your loved one.

Cuddling isn’t just for lovers. It’s also for moms and babies or children. Cuddles are for fur parents and pets too!

Moms can spend their day cuddling with their baby while they nurse them and take care of them all throughout the day.

Fur parents can cuddle their dogs or cats while they’re on the couch watching tv.

We all need physical touch from people we love and are comfy with. Cuddling is a perfect form of physical touch. It makes us feel loved.

The longer time and more often we spend cuddling, the greater effects it has on our well being and happiness.

It helps our brains to release more Oxytocin and Dopamine – the happy hormones.

When Oxytocin flows more in our brain, it makes us have that feel good feeling.

It makes us feel more bonded with our loved ones.

We become healthier because of the immunity boost.

It decreases blood pressure and risks of heart attacks.

The Oxytocin we get from cuddling also eases pain.

We sleep better when we cuddle during bedtime.

Even busts out stress and social anxiety. Cuddling helps us be more optimistic and enhance our outlook in life with positivity.

Breastfeeding moms also produce more milk when they cuddle their babies.

As for the Dopamine increase from all the cuddling, our memory and focus becomes sharper.

Cuddling when we wake up helps us feel energized and more awake.

We become more motivated and creative.

Over all, the pleasure in cuddling is a natural way to instantly feel good.

2. Up your game on Self-love.

The National Cuddle Day is a time for more Self-love as much as for those who are with their significant other.

Never forget to love yourself too. You can give yourself a cuddle emotionally just by embracing who you are unconditionally.

Spend 5 to 10 minutes in the mirror. Smile and look at yourself in the eyes.

Tell yourself with full conviction and feelings: “I am worthy of all the good things in life. I am enough. I am willing to choose happiness and love every day.”

Say this 10 times. Do this when you wake up and before you sleep.

Cuddle with a teddy bear or pillow for a good sleep.

3. Cover up in furries and fuzzies.

If National Cuddle Day falls on your rest day where you don’t have to go to work or school, bring out your furry and fuzzy blankets or comforters.

Get wrapped up in them by yourself, with a pet or your loved one.

Put on some socks and fuzzy slippers too. Cozy.

If you’re going to work or school, you can wear a velvet or fuzzy jacket to stay warm.

4.Warm drinks and food.

Have a coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Sip and enjoy the relaxing, warm and sweet taste.

5.Bathe in Warmth.

Have a quick warm shower or have a warm soak in the bath tub. Let yourself be cuddled in warmth. Breathe in happiness.

6.Light Up.

Light some Lavender candles.

The warmth and relaxing scent allows you to enjoy the moment with your loved one, pet or just pamper yourself.

Breathe in the moment.

Deep breathe for 5 minutes. Inhale positivity and love.

Exhale negativity and hate.   

7. Cuddle Playlist.

Compile your own Cuddle music on your computer, laptop, phone or on Spotify.

Play these songs as you cuddle with your loved one or pet.

You can put these playlist on while you enjoy your warm bath, warm food and drinks, fuzzy slippers or warm clothes or wrapped up in your fuzzy blanket.

Either by yourself, with a loved one or a furry pet companion.

National Cuddle Day is so right for being more loving to our loved ones and ourselves.

When we act from love we grow happier and develop into our higher selves.

We become more understanding, patient, caring, generous and helpful.

We become a true being of love. Radiating love helps others become love too.

Just as God made us lovingly out of love, we should always choose love and happiness.

5 Awesome and Empowering Things to do on Pretend to be a Time Traveler Day

You are more than  your flaws, sad experiences and circumstances. These are the missing puzzles that lead you to awaken your powerful potential.

When you rise above yourself, you’ll find that everything you need to have the greatest life is already inside of you.

So how do you awaken your power and discover your potential? Time Travel! Your mind is the best time machine ever.

You can go anywhere, whenever, however and with whoever we want. Anything is possible in our minds.

The Pretend to be a Time Traveller Day this 10th of December 2017 is just the perfect moment to empower yourself towards your own happily ever after.

This is the best time to explore your past, future and the present. You can do these through:

1.Inner Child Healing.  You must heal your past in order to get to the life you desire.

The pains, sadness, discomfort, guilt, fears and worries during your childhood subconsciously still affect your mindset about yourself, others, love, health and money.

Healing your past may seem uncomfortable but facing it, forgiving the past and letting go is necessary for you to fully embrace your power, worth, happiness, well being and your desired life.

Heal your inner child by going to YouTube and meditate using an Inner Child Healing guided meditation like this one:

Alternatively, you can write a letter to your younger self. Write with forgiveness, love, letting go, lesson learned and peace.

You can keep this letter and read it when you need encouragement.

2. Past Life Regression. You can understand and discover yourself more by knowing about your past life even before you were born in this lifetime.

This can help you find the missing piece why you think, feel and act in a certain way.

By knowing your past life, you’re able to fully be at peace with who you are.

By reading more about your own Life Path, you can discover your strengths and weaknesses. This will help you know which jobs or business you can try and succeed with.

6 Self Approval Tips for Guaranteed Happiness

The only approval you’ll ever need is yours. We go on all our lives waiting for others to like us. We go out of our way to please everyone so they can approve of us.

When we set ourselves free from seeking approval from everyone, we become fearless and unstoppable. We would start liking ourselves for who we really are. We awaken our inner greatness.

 The Unapproved Life

I’ve been there. It happened during my College years. I have always been the quiet one who always did the right things. It gave me peace knowing I was being a good girl that I was told to be. I know I will be loved for doing so.

I always went to school early, studied well and waited patiently for mom and our car to pick me up. I was one of the top students who made it to the Dean’s List.

I was chauffeured and never travelled by myself. I made sure I finished my tasks at school so mom won’t have to wait too long for me. I never went out with my friends or stayed out late for after school activities.

I know I was being good to mom but I felt like I stifled myself. I felt sad. I was not able to have many friends because I never went out unchaffeured or without a chaperone.

I really would have loved to perform in a play or sing Christmas carols with the choir. This required staying late after school. I had to give it up so I won’t make my mom worry. I understood she was only keeping me safe but then my heart yearned for something more.

For all the good things I did out of love, I never heard any appreciation and encouragement from mom. Not one. I guess she never grew up to be the encouraging kind. I still love her for giving birth to me.

Journey to Self-Approval

Since mom seemed to be very unexpressive of her approval, I learned to no longer care if she ever did anymore. I decided one day to just f**k it, I am my own Unicorn. I approve of myself fiercely because I am worthy and a good person all throughout. And yes, being imperfect is okay.

The moment I did this, my life turned around into so much inner happiness. I enjoyed every minute of my life. I managed my earnings and saved more than enough to live on my own.

I worked well and spoiled myself with shopping, massages, delicious food, stylish clothes,branded perfumes, signature make up, funny anime, great sleep, happy loving relationship and night outs.

I choose who I love, who I spend my time with and how I live my life. Of course, I listen to caring reminders but I no longer fear of what others might say, think or do.

I understand deeply that people can sometimes project their fears and limiting beliefs on me. I respect them anyway and spend more time with positivity. I choose my own positive empowering beliefs.

So why not approve of yourself for the amazing person that you are? You have everything in the world to gain for it.

The right kind of people will succeed along with you. Approving of yourself is embracing your purpose and the power to create the best life you could ever imagine.

It’s about time you do yourself a favor right now. Approve of yourself above all more than anyone else. And yes, you felt it right. Self-Approval tips up ahead:

1. Be willing to choose and learn to like those qualities that make you, you. No one in the world is like you. There’s not one single being that can talk, think, feel and act as you are.

You are original limited edition kind of awesome. A rare find. Please, please keep that in mind. Only you can be you.

What makes you stand out physically, intellectually and emotionally? What is your trademark when it comes to food, music, style, art, books, movies or just about anything?

Find clues in genres you are drawn to and compliments from genuine friends and family. What 3 values do you stand for? Take a journey to discovering and developing yourself. Use a journal to answer these questions.

2. Appreciate and share your talents. You are given unique gifts for a reason – to share to the world and light it up. Create your own masterpiece whether it’s mixing music tapes, designing beautiful digital images, writing profound poetry, composing a song, making a tasty dish, etc.

Be in that creative moment and be thankful for having these gifts. Take a snapshot then make an Instagram out of it or share it on Facebook. Put it out there to cheer someone up.

Join Facebook groups who has the same passion. Share your knowledge, inspire and support others.

3. Be passionate about little and grand things that give you joy. Surround yourself with things you like. Use your favorite mug and drink your fave coffee, chocolate or any drink you love from it.

Read your fave book or listen, dance or sing to music you’re crazy about. Watch that show you find enjoyable. Wear that fave clothes that make you feel awesome. Eat foods that make you happy.

Imagine how you can expand your fave coffee or clothes into something more enjoyable for everyone.

Think of things you love and daydream of it, speak about it with like-minded real friends or write it on your journal.  Your passion and fave things are clear directions to your purpose.

4.Speak with love about your knowledge and truth. Express your thoughts in a journal or a blog. Share positively and lovingly your ideas to like-minded friends online and in person.

Speaking your truth will lead you to those who need it. Your truth will help you find your soul mate people.

5.Be your own best friend (cheerleader even) and speak lovingly about yourself. Always tell yourself: “I am worthy of all the love, happiness, peace, great health and abundance in life.”

Repeat this 10 times verbally or silently in your mind. Write it in your journal 10 times as well.

Always choose positive words about yourself as much as possible. Focus on the things you love about yourself. Watch how your awesome self grow.

If we can encourage others, I can’t see how we can’t do this for ourselves the most. It takes practice but hey, all things are possible as long as you are determined.

6.Go outside the idea beyond what is approvable – things that people seem to find silly, unpopular or weird. Let yourself go, relax and have fun.

Lay on the floor, walk barefoot all day, eat with yourself, watch that show or movie you really like even if none of your friends like it and eat foods that you crave once in a while.

You get a thrilling satisfaction of being a rebel in a herd mentality. (Just kidding.) Do things by yourself and savor how enjoyable it could be to give in to your soul. Life is more meaningful, doing things that light you up.

When we approve ourselves we no longer fear and doubt ourselves. We become much happier and alive. We are powerful on our own. No resentment, no regrets, just pure love.

When you celebrate yourself you open up doors of endless possibilities of happiness, inner peace and success. The kind that no one can ever take away.

Go ahead and just give yourself the biggest approval unconditionally. You are your own happiness. You are the life you chose to live. Choose the best life.

Be the unconditional love that we give and yearn from others.
